NCD Leveling Install
Here is the beginning to my leveling kit install
Ok fellas I did the install but I did something wrong! Somehow my sway bar got bent down. I did not notice it for some reason, backed the truck up, and heard a screeching, popping noise. I gout out looked down and my sway bar links got bent and chewed up!! The directions I had said to disconnect the bar but I thought I could do the install with out that part (I was wrong). Now I have to order the links from the dealer $23.00 each and install the new ones. I am happy with the kit NCD provided and the instructions were awesome. I would tell EVERYONE installing this kit or any others (esp. guys that have never done it before) to look out and make sure your sway bar is disconnected or to make sure it is in the up position. I have been told by PrgGreg (who has been extremely helpful) that it is relatively easy to replace the sway bar end link. Do you guys think my not having my alignment done will "chew" up my tires if I drive it for about a week or put too much stress on my suspension? I can kind of see the tires leaning a bit...
I actually have this posted on another thread but did not want to take up someone else's thread. I am a complete iddiot when to comes to suspension so I hope I can be of help to others like me who are contemplating this project! If you fellas have any questions or advice just let me know.
