If your friends can't respect for what the Titan represents, then maybe it's time to go look for some new friends. At least Nissan hit a homerun with their first true F-U-L-L-S-I-Z-E import truck. They didn't have 80+ years to slowly develop the brand like the domestics. They didn't half azz it like Toyota did with the tepid 3/4th's scale Tundra.

You gotta give props to Nissan no matter what brand you're loyal to. Competition in the marketplace is what yields a better product for all. The domestic loyalists ought to be thankful for that. Nissan gives you the BIG engine as standard equipment. No half stepping it with some puny 4.0L based V8. You get five point six friggen liters of pure brute power in every Titan. Chevy has to come out with a 6.0L Vortec Max towing package just to keep up and they still can't match the 385TQ on the new Titan. And, Ford with their heavy azz frame and weak 365TQ 5.4 Triton can't match it either.

Why do you need their respect anyway? The Titan IS the better value and they probably know it. Do them a favor and tell them to trade their trucks in for some Titans.
