I think I'm missing too much low end.
I haven't been in any other Titans, so I'm not sure if it's just me or not. It just seems like below 3K RPM's I don't have the torque I should. I can't even spin the tires much at all, but I haven't been able to spin them since I put on the helper springs. I started out with my homemade intake and TBS. That gave me more pull over 4K RPM and didn't seem to pull any low end. Next I put a SuperTurbo muffler on the stock exhaust and again, my top end pull was better but nothing gained in the low end. Revently I added a Helix TBS and JBA Evol exhaust. I was expecting some better low end grunt, but I don't think I gained anything. I have to say when the tach hits 3K RPM's the truck feels like I just hit a small nitrous shot and pulls like a freight train all the way to 5K.
My only thought is that my homemade intake is inhibiting me. What I have right now is a stock intake connected to a stock MAF tube that was cut right at the air box. I then slipped on an AEM dryflow filter. It's the same one that comes with their CAI. I haven't built a baffle yet, but it has been in the 40;s to 50's outside and I don't think that intake temps are going to be a problem right now. Let me know what you all think.
