What year is your truck?

I have an 04 and had the exact same problem. The Vent door would not fully switch over. In the winter -No heat, and in the summer - not enough a/c

The dealer had to pull the dash and replace the a/c unit and the vent mechanism. Lets just say that my $1500 extended warranty I purchased had just paid for itself.

If yours is still under factory warranty, or if you have an extended.....get it documented with your dealer. Total cost when all said and done was around $1800.
