hey ya'll. i recently bought a macbook so i'm wanting to get rid of my other laptop. it's a sony vaio pcg k25 with:

15" sony Xbrite screen
60 gig HD
512 RAM
CD/DVD burner
Pentium 4
2.8 Ghz processor
built in wireless card
Memory Stick port
3 USB 2.0 ports
Windows XP home

It is in great condition with zero blemishes/scratches. however, the only thing negative i can say is that the left mousepad button is getting loose on one side, 'though the button still works. for this reason i'm including a barely used $50 wireless MS mouse. the keypad works perfectly, along with all the accessory ports. this pc has been very reliable and performed well for me.

because it is a desktop replacement the pc is larger and weighs 6-7 pounds, the battery life is not great (approx. 30 minutes), and the cooling fan is louder than some other laptops i've heard (i have set the vaio on a cooling fan pad that helps keep the OEM fan quiet). it is a great pc for the home office, as well as portable enough to take on vacations and elsewhere.

i will restore windows XP Home to factory settings, and include the OEM software with install discs, battery, and adapter. it will ship in the factory box/packaging.

when new, i purchased this pc for over $1500. i would like to sell soon so i'm asking $749 OBO. i will ship it FREE! including the wireless mouse spoken of earlier. if you would like, i have a nice $60 samsonite laptop bag i will include for free as well, but i will charge $20 for shipping.
