The reason I need a 4 channel is that I will run the front channel to the tweeters and the rear channel to the woofers, that way I can have advanced time alignment off of my HU.

The kenwood HUs have Xovers, and have time alignment between the 5 channels (2 fronts, 2 rears, and sub) but cannot time align between drivers only sets. My plan was to use the rear channels as midrange, and front channels for tweeters.

And I looked into the DQS and the EQS and they would work, but at that price I might as well use the alpine h701 I have now and just have a 2nd control unit up front.
