I was getting "service engine soon" light after I started my truck with the IAT sensor disconnected. After several attempts to reset the connector and battery failed, I tried the steps posted above and they worked for me. Light flashed and gave me the 0113 IAT sensor. I started the truck immediately after and the code went away. -The manual states the code should go away on it's own after the problem is fixed(*IAT sensor for me), but after several trips the light was still there. Resetting the ECU solved the problem
