Strange Noise at Low Speed

I have an 06 SE CC with 7600 miles on it. I sometimes hear a strange intermittent screeching noise when I'm driving slowly through parking lots, parking garages, my driveway, etc... If I turn and/or apply the brakes while its making this noise, the noise will become very loud and "grinding". It's hard to tell where the sound is coming from, but my best guess is the right front wheel. The noise generally appears while coasting or accelerating very gently. Once I start rolling on the highway (over 15 mph), the sound disappears. I'm wondering if this isn't a brake thing, even though the sound usually appears without the brakes being applied (but braking makes it much worse). It doesn't always make this noise, and I had troubles reproducing it for the mechanic at the dealearship. However, the noise appeared again when I drove home and pulled into my driveway. Anyone have any ideas what this might be?
