Spark Plugs at 114,000 Miles

Changed sparks plugs today, 114,000 use on them they looked surprising good at the electrodes, truck was still running strong, just thought it was time to change them. The only thing that was evident about them was two plugs the ceramic was cracked and one of them a piece of the ceramic fell off when I removed it from the socket. I guess over time the ceramic just gets brittle and cracks or maybe not. I did check the gap on all of the old plugs and they were real close to .043 except one, it was .030 guess one out of eight ain't bad. When changing the plugs just make sure the extension and the socket are well secured to the wrench to extract the plug, the plug well is deep, also the socket needs to have the rubber insert to pull the plug out also.Thank God we don't have to buy plug wires too, the plugs cost $9.00 a piece. Just thought ya'll wanted to know, that's all.
