Re: Bulletproof Suspension

I had a chevy 1500 with a bulletproof 12" lift, great for getting chicks, not much else. Too high for major offroad, on road is fine, and say goodbye to your gas i was getting about 7 to the gallon. It's a street queen lift, looks sweet on the street. Too many people get these lifts mixed up in thinking that you have all this travel. all the kits do is drop everything down, there's a reason long travel suspension has it's name. If you want to rock crawl get a 7" inch or so, if you want to race desert and jump mid to long travel, and if you want show only get 12" or higher.
