The only problems I had were the same as everyone else with brakes, Nissan did the tsb on them at 85,000 miles, no problem since, Nissan changed the radio head,no problem since, had a front seal leak at the tranny, Nissan changed the whole transmission out, thats been fine, the truck does puff a little smoke when started up after it has sit for a weekend, drive my mustang on the weekends, the plugs were a little scary removing them, took a little muscle to brake them free (put some anti freeze on the new ones).
The only times that I get worried about the truck is when I get some water in the gas tank occiasionaly, I figured I must have put in about 400 tanks of gas already and the chances of water in the gas are high,if this happens a bottle of heet will do the trick. As for as the oil I use it has been Mobil 1 since the first oil change, no additives, have done the seafoam direct inject twice, one at 50,000 and one at 100,000 miles. As for as mods to the engine I have a K&N flat panel filter, airraid throttle body spacer, did the coolant bypass at the tb, I get 17 miles a gallon mostly highway traveling. Actually I did not drive the truck for over a year, bought a 95 cougar to use because of the miles on the Titan, now I am back in the Titan again, saved 70,000 miles off the Titan, when you do alot of highway miles things don't wear out as fast as city, except for tires 3rd set. Anymore high mileage ?'s fell free to ask, oh yea it still not a hemi.
