That's good. Last night my 6 year old came into the garage and told me there was a deer outside her window. We live in a subdivision, so that is pretty rare. So, we go out on the front porch to look at it, and she stared us down but didn't leave. A few minutes later she laid down in the yard. She didn't try to run, so I walked toward her slowly. When I got about 5 feet from her, I noticed her right rear leg was mangled, but appeared to be partially healed. She got up, and you could see her lower hind quarter was a mess, but had mostly healed itself very crooked. She stayed around, ate the Nazi B*%ch next door's flowers, then calmly walked away. I am guessing she can't run much if at all from the looks of her foot. I was praying we didn't see her this morning on the side of the road.
