My wife doesnt drive standard so Is it worth it to get the CVT transmission?

Whats the difference between CVT and regular Auto?

Any imput would be helpfull. IF you know of another vehicle around 15-17k price thats worth looking and can seat 4 adults and carry a stroller on the back. ?
