Take any spike that is obviously not a yearling. A 1.5 year old buck with good genes will be at minimum a fork horn. A 1.5 year old buck with good genes AND a high protein diet can produce a basket 6 point.
Never let a big spike pass!!! The spike in the first pic would be in my freezer!!!
