Re: Adam's 2nd Gen Pads

Does my quick adapter from the first gen pads allow these to be snapped on also?

NO, this is a different system. These velcro to the adapter plate provided in this kit.

I used these this past Friday at the shop. Very nice pads, much easier to do the entire truck than the previous pads because of the size increase.

Re: Adam's 2nd Gen Pads

I took the plunge and ordered the set. Hopefully this will fit my Porter Cable polishing machine. Here is a link to the page that has this kit: Car Wax, Car Polish, Auto Detail Supplies - Adam's Polishes - 2nd Generation Polishing Pads and Adapter

I have been using the pads from Griot's Garage for the past few years. They work good but they are getting old and I think yours are a bit less expensive. I do wish you used the standard hook and look backing pad that comes on the Porter Cable but mine has issues so I'm not too concerned about replacing it.

Do you have an adapter for using the clar bar with the Porter Cable? I have one from GG and it works great but I goofed last time I used it and the clay/adapter got too hot and melted the center of the adapter to the hook and look backing pad (I know, it isn't supposed to get that hot). I absolutely love using the machine for doing the clay bar. I won't do it any other way.

Thanks for your order. If you have any questions about your order or anything else please let me know.

We currently don't have an adapter for the clay bar.
