New 2010 Pro-4X FS

So I went to my local Nissan dealer for a .02 plastic clip or else I'd make the drive out to Fontana Nissan. Anywho I saw a brand new 2010 Pro-4X and on the sticker it said environmental fee of $995.00 WT%&#$! is that??? A California fee or a dealersip BS fee???? WOW couldn't believe this..... Anyone heard of this before. I wish I had my camera so I could have taken a pic.

Must be a Cali fee. I didn't have that on mine.

I have a 2010 LE 4x4 and didn't get charged a fee.

i believe it.

went to subway the other day and got my sammich toasted.... and was charged a state mandated toasting fee

all kinds of fees floating around these days. got a new monitor and was charged a nice lil recycling fee. same goes for most electronics. i buy online out of state or used whenever i can.

ya you have the gas guzzler fees and the global warming fees....assuming thats the environmental fee idk, its CA. though my 2010 didnt have that either. lol maybe its new

Isnt 995 usually the dealer/destination fee or whatever, probably masked the name so you dont try to talk your way out of it.

So true. That clip killed me. I laughed to the point of tears. I feel sorry for that admiral...having to call that dumba$$ "Honorable."

As for Cali and their fees, yes. They have fees for everything they "deem" a potential environmental hazard. When I was at Pendleton, we had to always be on the lookout for a field mouse (endangered). We are killing machines! (...just can't kill a field mouse)

Cali wouldn't have to tax and fee every damn thing if they would just stop throwing money around. Educational services for illegals, housing assistance for illegals, etc. What's next? Unemployment benefits for illegals?

That right there is funny =-) had double laugh there...... As for the state itself urghhhhh. I love the weather and all my family is here. As for the politics, I keep trying to vote out the Dianne Fiensteins and Barbara Boxers, I don't like their views, but we have liberal north. I'm a small business owner and it sucks to deal with all the taxes. You can't FART without being taxed....... Maybe I'll move to Arizona.......
