It's just a small hole in the center, you would only notice it when driving down the road at night. The LED itself should be just an LED with 2 wires running out of it. You have to pull the center console, remove the old bulb from the socket, then remove the bulb (unwrap the wire) from the housing and replace with the LED.

Noticed mine for the FIRST time last week when I was driving at night and reached up to adjust my GPS. "Oh, what is this dim little light on the back d my hand?" haha yes I agree completely worthless.

I need to get an order in for all the interior LEDs... Website or text???

I took a small drill bit and opened the hole for the mood light up a bit, put my blue LED in there and I get a cool blue glow at night when I'm driving.

About an hour, depends on how long it takes you to figure out how to get the console down to replace your map lights and mood light.

Ok guys, I'm an idiot lol! I don't know what I was thinking, but I put the dome light in backwards + to - and vise versa. I assuming I blew a fuse because none of my interior lights are working. Anyone know where to find the fuse to be replaced? I looked in the fuse box on the passenger side, but I didn't see anything that implied the interior lights. I have an '04 KC. Thanks guys.

About 20 minutes. Maybe half hour if I did that middle light I didn't see. Just uses small strait blade to pop the covers off. And the LEDs are directional. I didn't know that till I went to install them. And the rear overhead light housing pushes up very easily. I have to take the overhead bins down to fix that now.
