Utili track system for sale.

I am willing to part with my utility bed pkg that I never use. I'll include all rails, stoppers, and cleats. You'll also get the floor tracks and covers for them. Make me a reasonable offer.

Be aware that if you don't already have the Utilitrak system the structural framework of the bed is not designed to support the system.

What structural differences are there besides the 1" square pieces of metal spot welded where the bolts go through? There is an added cup shaped piece in the bed on the second set of bolts from the tailgate, but that could be duplicated.

From what has been reported in other threads relating to this topic, the strength of the bed itself is different. There are additional support pieces or something that make the bed walls stronger and able to support the rails.

Utilitrac

The second one specifically states (by TitanParts247) that the bed is not the same. I am sorry 1BadTitan, but unless someone has the Utilitrak bed and didn't get the actual tracks, no one can use your tracks.

The other parts, however, would be handy as extras.

One question for you though - why did you buy the utilitrak option if you were not going to use it?

When I ordered the truck I only wanted a Black SE with RF Bucket seats and spray in liner. Thats exactly how it was spec'd out. That was in february. In the end of april, they called and said come see this truck, we'll "work" with the price. Bottom line I got the fully loaded LE (except nav) for the price of the spec'd out SE. I'd have been a fool to turn it down. The only things I didn't want was the utility bed pkg (usless to me), big towing pkg (hate the mirrors), and the nerf bars(ugly). But since I was getting more for the same as a lesser model, I figured OK.

I understand the issues but why do you say that the utility bed package is useless to you? Do you never plan to put anything in the rear of the truck that would benefit from being tied down? Keep the thing installed, the resale value will be better.

I think I would leave the Utilitrac system on my truck unless it is in the way of some other accessory you want to add to your bed. It won't affect how the truck looks and can only enhance its resale value. I find a new use for my Utilitrac all the time.
