Mirror trade

Anyone want to trade tow heated mirrors for small chrome heated ones email me drewdahmann@yahoo.com. My mirrors have less than 2K miles on them and no dings.

It would be great if you could describe how difficult this change is to do. I'll be buying next year with the tow package, and I will want to switch them for the smaller heated mirrors. I will not tow a lot and when I do it will be an open car trailer, so I really don't want to live with those huge mirrors all the time.

I hope everybody finds a partner to swap with.

I'll trade my std heated LE mirrors for big tow mirrors.

If someone has heated power tow mirrors that are chrome with no dings or mars, I'd consider trading my small heated power mirrors. My mirrors are immaculate but would like the larger image when towing/backing my boat trailer. I'm in TN. First, we can trade detailed pics of mirrors so we both know what we are getting.

Quad,

You might change your mind, I thought the same thing untill I purchased my Titan, I love the smaller mirror at the bottom, virtually no blind spots. Except the A piller, haha...

Of course I've pulled more miles with my Titan than I havent, so this could also be why I love them so much. Sucks when I go to drive anything else because I always find myself looking for them...

Later,

Look I live in Orlando, Florida, and I still would like to trade my smaller chrome mirrors for the chrome tow package mirrors. I also want to know how difficult the removal and reinstallation is, due to the fact I will obviosly be without mirrors for a bit. If anyone is interested in mine (SINCE I STARTED THIS POST) please PM me or email me @ scottryla@yahoo.com. If anyone lives close that would be ideal!

not hard at all to change. For both trucks, you would need to take the door panels to unplug the wires. For the big tow, 3 allen screws hold the mirror from inside the door by the A pillar. After screws are out, its ok to use a bit of force to take out the whole assembly. For the non big tow, remove the black cover and use a 10mm socket to remove the mirror. Make sure the screws stay with the mirror for the swap. to take the door panels off, first take the cover of the door handle exposing 4 10mm screws. The rest of it are pop up plastic tabs. Good luck.

I am also interested in trading. I have the BT mirrors, heated and electric. I live in Maryland. Has anyone tried to swap these out? Is it difficult to do?
