Question Wanna gimme your exhaust?

I know this sounds like an odd request, but I am looking for stock exhaust components for a crew cab. I want to do some experimenting with my exhaust, but my wife doesn't want to let me spend a lot of money or break my truck. (especially the break the truck part!) I am hoping that one of you in Houston that has upgraded your exhaust might consider letting me take your stock system off your hands rather than putting it out for the garbage man.

I have a need to play, and a very small budget to do it with. And if I screw something up, I want to have an extra factory part to bolt back in place to keep the wife happy. If you live in Houston and would allow me to arrange to pick up the stuff, then that would be great so there wouldn't be any shipping hassles. Alternately, if you know of a cool shop that would allow me to get the stuff from them that that would be cool.

One more thing... I also need to find a place where I can get really cheap pipes in various sizes (2.5", 3", 3.5", 4", 6", 10"... OK, maybe not 10"). Any ideas? I don't need stainless or aluminized pipes right now, so just plain old steel exhaust pipes will do.

Thanks!

Exhaust

I might do it for you. I am hoping to get my exhaust done, and when I do you can have the old.

Too bad I live in So Cal. These damn pipes in the garage have been taking up space and making a bunch of spiders very happy since March.
Willing to ship though. Not sure how much it would cost you but you can pretty much take them for beer money or something.

I'll gladly pick them up for you. I live like 2 blocks away from Fontana Speedway.

If you ever go to Fontana, give me a PM and i'll be there with a smile.

I hope to be going back shortly, just they only have the 1/4 mile strip open once a month and it keeps falling on the weekends that we go to Glamis. I much rather spend a weekend in Glamis than race my truck for half a day

That track kind of sucks, we spent 8 hours there and only got to run twice. That was in the heat of summer, I'm sure its much more crowded in the winter when the air is cooler and people are netting better times. What a traffic jam that place was.

The weekend before Carlsbad Raceway closed, it was jam-packed also, and I got 8 runs in over a 3 hour period. That's more my style.

It is hard to make adjustments and tweaks to your vehicle/driving/launching strategy to see the gains when you only run twice in a whole day's worth of sitting and waiting.
