Audioguy,
So far I'm very pleased with it. I used to have a Roady2 in my S-10 that used FM modulation and there is a huge difference in sound quality between the two. With the Roady2 I would get alot of background hiss but with the Nissan module there is not background noise unless it was in the original recording. As far as controls it integrates very well into the rest of the system. It doesn't scroll the artist/title automatically but you can access that info by pressing in the tuner knob. I had considered going with an aftermarket head unit with integrated XM but for me it wasn't worth the expense and hassle. I also didn't want to give up the steering wheel integration.
Since you are in Orlando I'd be willing to help you with the install. Running the anternna wire is the longest portion of the job. I ended up running mine through the 3rd brake light behind the headliner to the driver side back pillar. I ran it behind the pillar to the floor and ran under the door sill plates to the dash area. Mounting the XM unit in the factory location isn't difficult at all.
If you are still interested (or would like to take a look at mine) give me a call on my cell... 321-663-0554. I'm in Metrowest.
Thanks,
Tim
