6" LCD Screen (Mobile TV) - NIB, only $150

I bought this with intentions of doing a show-quality mobile video setup, but ended up scratching that project. Retail price is $246. I'm selling for $150 or best offer!

Here is a description:

Quote:
This high quality 6" TFT-LCD video module provides endless installation possibilities, from camera monitoring to mobile video customization. The attached low profile mounting tabs are designed to make the module easy to install for a custom fit and finish. Also included is an auto switch circuitry that turns the monitor on when a video signal is present.

Specifications: *Screen format: 4:3 *Back light: Built-in CCFL *Dot format: 320 W x 234 H *Video system: NTSC only *Resolution: 960 H x 234 V *Operating voltage: DC 9V - 24V *Power consumption: 1A. *Picture controls: Brightness & Color *Viewing angle: Top, 65º/Bottom, 45º/ Left to Right, 45º *Operating temperature: -10ºC to 75ºC *Monitor dimensions (mm): 146 H x 113 W x 22 D *Weight: 1.01 lbs.

I have pictures on my camera of the actual screen, harness, etc all in the box. Has never been hooked up, still has the protective plastic over the screen. $150 obo. Buyer pays shipping (approx $10 with insurance and tracking).

Please email any questions/interest to Justins311@hotmail.com. I don't check the board that often these days....so PMs and posts won't be replied to as quickly!

LOL...I assume you mean use this "in" my truck? Well first off you would have to have a source - a DVD player, comptuer, etc. Then you just plug it in and mount it wherever you like! Pretty much if you're interested in it you'll already know what it does

I don't know guys, I no longer have a Titan. Here are the specs, as I posted "dimensions (mm): 146 H x 113 W x 22 D "

Its a custom screen, it fits wherever you want it to....dash, overhead bin, headrest, whatever.

It would fit but you would have a big gap to fill in around the edges. I have a 7" monitor and there is probably a 1" gap around the edges of the "lip" of the bin. I bet a 10" wide screen would fit in there if you cut the lip all the way down but I haven't seen anything larger than a 7" stand alone monitor readily available. I wonder how hard it is to take a flip down monitor apart and just use the screen.....

Thanks llajumpvid. Well guys sounds like it would fit in the flip down just fine...I'm borrowing llajumpvid's pic to show you guys what a 7" would look like, remember mine is 6" (but at a good price )

Video system: NTSC only - its RCA style, not VGA. I wonder if you could get a converter tho?

Yo Justin, good to see people from other forums (mr2board).

You can convert rca to VGA. Either manully with some spare parts or with an adapter like: http://www.pccables.com/70717.htm

I've converted a tiny PSOne LCD screen before to use as an auxilary monitor on my computer and it was fairly straight forward.
