Magnaflow Mufflers & X-Pipe For Sale

I have 2 single in/out 5x8x14 Magnaflow mufflers and a Magnaflow X-Pipe that I would like to sell. I ran them on my truck for about 2 weeks and they just weren't loud enough for me. All inlets/outlets are 2.25". I paid over $280 for the mufflers and X-pipe. I will let it all go for $140. ($50 for each muffler and $40 for the X-pipe). Buyer covers shipping cost (from TN).

That's kind of a long story. I started out with true dual Flowmaster 40's. At about 3000 rpm's they sounded terrible (very raspy and not in a good way). So, I cut those out and put the magnaflow setup on there thinking that they were similar in size to the 40's, so they should be about as loud as the 40's but hopefully wouldn't have that terrible rasp. I was totally wrong. I started up the truck at the exhaust shop and it was all I could do to keep from yelling "What the F$%^????" The truck was much quieter. The sound was nice, but just not near loud enough. So, after all that, I went back to a Flowmaster 40 single in/dual out (also went up to 2.5" pipe from the manifold back to the mufflers and left the rest of the 2.25" pipe from the previous job in place) and I'm very happy with that. I still have the first set of Flowmasters if anyone would want them, but they got a little banged up when they were taken off.

I assume you are alredy running 2.5" pipe??? For the money you'd save on this setup, you could easily afford to change the pipe out to 2.25". I'd be willing to bet you wouldn't lose any performance either. I had 2" true duals first, then with this setup swithched to 2.25" true duals. That change made no noticable difference in performance. If anything, I felt like I lost a little bit on the low end. The funny thing is, now that I switched back to a single in/dual out setup, my mpg has jumped about 1.5 mpg from what I was getting with the two previous setups.
