Stop Tech Brake System NIB

I have a new Stop Tech brake kit for the TITAN or Armada for sale. We took it out of the box and test fitted it but it didn't clear my wheels. You can get info from the manufacturers website at...

http://www.stoptech.com/press_relea...rmada-titan.htm

...I paid over $3000 for the kit but would let it go for $1750 including shipping to get rid of it. Please email me at bsherman211@cox.net if you have any interest.

Thanks,
Brian

Still have the brakes and will let them go for $1500 plus shipping!

Thanks,

Just curious, why didn't you just send them back where you bought them? If they haven't been used I would think they'd take them back. Even with a restocking fee, you'd still make more than what you are asking now.

That does make more sense, and the first thing I would have tried.

Did you "modify" them to fit, and it still didn't work? Is that why you are selling them for half price and not returning them to StopTech?

Not really sure how this is at all relevant to me selling a set of brakes but, I had them for about 60 days before I tried to install them and went past what would be a reasonable amount of time to try and return them.

Nothing has been modified at all. We simply took them out of the box, inserted the pads, mounted them up, realized they didn't fit, tried fitting them with a spacer then took them off. They're legitimately new. I can email you pics if you're interested.

Good question! The reality is that I just got way to busy to try them out and the original template I received from Stop Tech indicated that they would fit with no trouble. Oh well. You win some and you lose some!

I will be using the template to test fit on 6-8-05. Do you still have the kit for sale?
