So how do you explain...

Where you get all of these new Nissan items, and how you can afford to sell them for pennies on the dollar? Do you sell anything that won't fit in your pocket?

At least you are not selling tailgates.

To some poeple, it DOES matter. Good story though. If it is true, you work for an idiot. How often do poeple forget to give out remotes at your dealership? You would think that when the box got half full, they would maybe want to put up a note like...

"Please don't forget to give the customer both remotes!"

Then when the customer returns, you order an expensive, new remote, and wait for it to arrive. Rather then just retrieve the original remote from the box. Good system you got there.

So when your dealership makes a mistake, they give said mistake to their employees? That's a great way to ensure a constant supply of "mistakes." But not a very good way to run a business. Anyone want to guess who really pays for all of those "mistakes" in the long run?

Well, since I'm one of the customers who gets to pay for those "mistakes," it is my business. If you want to score a cheap remote, go for it. I hear ignorance is bliss.

you moron ...i see reading comprehension isnt your best thing.....if you knew how a dealership worked maybe you wouldnt look like the ignorant *** you are...

you see when you deliver a vehicle to a customer you DELIVER EVERYTHING....sometimes keys and remotes are missing....so you take the damn thing to service quickly and get new keys, remotes and get them programmed as fast as you can so when the customer comes out of finance he can leave...you see no customer likes to wait or to be OWED anything....and since those are questions on the survey we need to be perfect we just HANDLE IT.....as far as YOU paying for it....get the hell out of here with that! its charged to new car policy....THE DEALERSHIP EATS THE COST!...you are an utter and complete jack ***....as a courtosy i was asked to since find out what was going on with this big pile of keys and remotes.... i mailed the keys out to customers we have no use for them..so now instead of having 3 keys they have as many as 5.....i kept the remotes and now have 4 remotes for my 350z and 4 for my armada and selling the rest...

you dont want my remotes?then stay the **** out of my thread.....

You posted once about being a truck sales manager. Every other one of your posts is about you selling parts that came from your dealership. That's just on this list. Probably a few on other Nissan lists? Do all of your employees get to sell stuff too? Maybe an employee Ebay account?

No, the dealer does NOT eat the cost. Everything goes to the bottom line. Those costs are passed on to the customer at some point. If your dealership gave you their blessing to sell their parts, good for you. But maybe if they controlled their costs better, they could pay you more. Then you wouldn't have to sell so much stuff.

there is no such thing as BOTTOM LINE asshole
it is written off to new car policy......how can costs be transfered to you when you admitted you paid invoice for your truck?

Yes, please, if you don't want a remote get lost. This is about as stupid as the needless posts about taking racing to the track in a street racing story thread. Welcome to the internet. If someone can acquire a product with some value to sell and make a buck with thats life and his good fortune. If I had been handed that box of remotes they would have been all over Ebay for $17.95 + shipping. Tell someone who cares if you need to say something to feel good about yourself.

The bottom line is the net profits of a business. Since a car dealership is a business, any and all costs affect that. Even if Nissan were to ship you the remotes for free, it would be reflected in the cost of the remotes your dealership does pay for. Guess who that gets passed on to?

See above. You are talking about vehicle price, I'm talking about the business as a whole.

I don't care what you make. My point was that if your employer wastes money, it directly affects you. Good for you that you "own" so many vehicles. You would have had to spend a lot to have spent more then I make. But it's fairly common and easy to spend much more then you actually make. So who "owns" your vehicles, you or the bank?

That sounds like such a nice thing to do! Helping out other Nissan owners by selling them new items for pennies on the dollar. But you are a sales manager at a Nissan dealership. Why help out strangers on the internet, instead of your own customers? I'm sure your boss wouldn't mind if you set up a lttle cart in the showroom. Buy a Titan, get an extra key fob for $17.50!

I'm done. If you feel the need to defend/ explain yourself, you can do so without name calling. Step back and look at the picture. Even if you are 100% correct, can you not say that your methods raise quite a big flag? You come on here, and start posting many new items for sale at firesale prices. You explain you do the same on other forums. How can you not expect to get questioned on that?

Jason K.,
Prick.
