I'm lifting my truck shortly and I'd like to go back to a 18" wheel due to the fact the 35's I want to get for my 20's are outrageously priced.
Anyhow I have a set of 4 MB Motoring Express wheels & 4 305/50R20 Falken STZ/04's mounted with factory sensors and all. The tires probably have about 8k miles on them at this point, I can measure tread depth and provide additional pictures if you're interested.
I would prefer local pick up in Salt Lake, Utah, however I am willing to ship these if the buyer pays. I'm asking $1,150 for the set of 4 picked up, or + shipping.
I pulled some rough shipping quotes today and it looks like on the low end shipping to the farthest point from my location (FL) would be $35 per wheel/tire, and at the high end it could be up to $55 per wheel/tire. I used rough math for now as I don't know the exact weight of the tire and wheel. These should be maximum estimates, if you live closer to UT the rates should be lower.
If anyone is seriously interested let me know and I'll be glad to get exact weights and dimensions, and work up a firm quote to your location.
I will leave this thread up for about a week longer, if I don't sell the wheels and tires by then I'm going to keep the wheels and go with 35's for them. IF that is the case, I'll have these tires for sale separately.
If anyone is interested in the wheels and tires, or just the tires, PM me.
UPDATE: I cannot use these wheels with the 35's I will be purchasing so the tires and rims will be sold as a complete set. I will be keeping the tire pressure sensors and shipping these with the tires and wheels unmounted to best protect the rims during shipment unless someone really wants me to ship them mounted and balanced.
I have a few interested buyers at this time.
Here are pictures of each of the wheels showing that there are no blemishes, just a little brake dust build up in a few places which is easy to polish out if you want to spend the time to get it all. There are also a few MINOR pit marks in the chrome which have been there since the wheels were new, the only time you can ever notice them is while polishing the wheels since the rag tends to snag in just a few spots. You can't really see them on their own.
The only problem I noticed is that a few of the screws for the center caps have worked their way loose, but these are just standard stainless philips head screws and can easily be replaced. There are still several on each wheel holding the caps on, so if you want to replace them you could take a screw with you to the local hardware store and still not have to worry about the caps falling off.
In regards to cleaning I've been using Meguiar's Chrome Wheel Polish with great success on these.
I've also taken a few pictures showing the tread depth on the front tires which are currently a little lower than the rears as I've just barely rotated them. The tires have about 8k - 9k miles on them.
I put the new wheels and tires on my truck yesterday so I have these sitting in the garage ready to ship.
I was able to pull up a few accurate shipping quotes now that I know the exact weight of each wheel & tire combo, and it looks like shipping would be $40 per wheel/tire to the west coast or anywhere within a few states of UT, or $50 per wheel/tire combo to the east coast.
