Backup sensors on an '04? Thought that extra didn't appear till 2005.
If I'm correct...this may have been hit bad in the rear...and I'm surprised Nissan would buy a truck back because of brake judder....under the law, a buy back has to have at least three attemps to fix a problem...I had my '05 done once...that fixed it.

Alot of the 04s had to go back multiple times before getting the permanent fix, so who knows?
That dealerships sells a ton of manufacturer buyback Titans, and they have 100% feedback. One of the buyers is either a member here or on CT, can't remember.
Interesting.....I bet it did have some bad rear-end damage...Seems like the guy i s lying that it was a Nissan buy-back.
I wonder how Nissan sells the buy back trucks? My guess in some auction...and as savvy as most car dealers are, no one can know everything...so it's possible the seller is unawares of the non LE bedliner.
But my guess is...this thing has had serious rear end damage, and the bed and bumper have been replaced...off a later truck...
I'd do a frame check for sure...frame damage can cause all kinds of geometry problems....dog tracking is one.
It shows first registered in California 06/25/2004, with two "vehicle serviced" at Mossy Nissan National City, 07/22/2005 with 13,532 miles and again on 3/06/06 with with 18,059 miles (I didn't realize CarFax tracks vehicle services?).
On 03/15/2006, 18,160 miles, it says New owner reported, MANUFACTURER BUYBACK OR LEMON REPORTED, Registered as lease vehicle. 04/24/2006 has another entry for MANUFACTURER BUYBACK OR LEMON REPORTED. On 10/19/2006, it is reported as Sold at auctionin Pacific Region, Listed as a manufacturer vehicle.
No accidents reported... maybe it was a lemon because of the discoloring factory spray-in bed liner, which they replaced with a drop in, ha ha.

Something is screwy here. Every year, used car dealers here in CA bring in 1000's of trucks from TX...the pickup capital of the world.
The Pacific Region does not include TX.
So how did this thing get to TX? No TX dealer would buy it in CA, then pay to haul it east.
So if Nissan bought it back...they would have had to haul it east...and that makes no sense either.
And why the back up sensors?....if this truck was fixed by a used car dealer, or shade tree body shop...there may be no Carfax report.
