Re: NIB Glock - any model

Oh how I love the ignorance. If you actually understood the safeties on a glock you would know they prevent inertial firing that you claim they have. So where are all the reports of them going off when dropped?

Chamber a a round and turn it upside down and it will fire? Get it wet and it will fire? Are you f-in kidding me?

You are simply full of sh|t with no actual understanding of the mechanics of the gun and instead choose to regurgitate rumor and hype.

Let me guess, you think its ok to keep your finger on the trigger because you have a manual safety?

With your level of ignorance around firearms please turn them it or give them away and take up bowling, you are accident waiting to happen.

Glock like pretty much all modern pistols will only fire when the trigger is deliberately pulled.

Re: NIB Glock - any model

BKW, I dont shoot for Glock corporate, but I do have a shop and my own team and have been working on guns for a living and shooting professionally for 8 years, so you could say I am pretty familiar with how Glocks and their safeties work.

Yes, i bought mine when you had to order them about 3 years ago, i think...

If i would of waited about 6 months i could of saved about 150 bucks on the same gun .....

I shoot it when i have extra money.....I don`t reload so i am paying about 2.50--3.25 a shot depending on the round...

The other cannon that came out a year or so after was a .460 which will shoot like 4 different rounds that give you some options== save $$$$...

Yep..He's also in several movies. He's quite famous in the gun world.

This thread is heading towards some moderation if this sort of thing keeps up.

Re: NIB Glock - any model

I have carried a glock for 6 years as a police officer. The glock is a safe weapon, the trigger only takes a 5 lbs pull and then a 1 lbs after you fire. The safe way to handle a gun is keep you finger off the trigger until you are ready to fire. Right now I carry a Sig 226 which is differnt then the Glock and the SIg has the same type of safety.

That is also incorrect. Glocks have the same break weight for every shot. You may be confusing shooting off the reset as lighter but its the same weight. Most of them out of the box break at 6-6.5 pounds with a 5lb conector. To get a 5 lb break weight takes a little tuning.

Kartman, you seem to know a lot about guns and truck suspension...but in the future, you might find it more productive to try and teach than to humiliate and belittle those who you deem less knowledgeable.

You come off as a real a$$ in some of your posts...not sure if that's your intent...but it's how I see it. This is a bit of the pot calling the kettle black I know, but you have some good knowledge and it's a shame it's not put to better use on these forums.

Re: NIB Glock - any model

Actually "police issue" glocks are the same as all the others unless its a large dept with a different connector or trigger spring speced in the contract.
