I have sortoff decided on Zaino, but they suggest doing everything by hand. I want/need the buffer - would never get through 5 or 6 passes by hand.

Will have to think on it some more...

Zaino guys - do you use an orbital with Z2 and Z5???

Right off their website: http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc.

planning on purchasing the ZKIT-1, Z-8, Z-12 AND Z-16.

I sent them an email, and Sal Zaino himself replied.

I have sent him another asking about the use of buffers.

PM me with your email address and I'll forward his responses to you.

Tom

-- anyone know a cheaper place to get Zaino products???

it's expensive, but you get a decal with it...

I don't know jack about buffers, except that the porter cable is mentioned a lot. You could call these guys - they handle multiple vendors and are recommended by others: http://www.topoftheline.com/polishing-equipment.html

here's another from Club Armada: http://www.autopia-carcare.com/son-sfxpol-kit.html
