Tough to find used ones...most people buy one and keep it for life.
A very nice quality unit though. All the detailing buff rave about it.
Be careful though, electric buffers can do way more harm than good if you are not VERY careful with them. One of the few things worthy of reading the instructions on...heh heh.

I saw a video about it. my truck has swirl marks, for now im just gona try muguiars scratch x and some wax after to treat it. as soon as i buy the buffer im dedicating a weekend to a full out detail
yeah i did. Well another member bkw, whos good with the detailing tips, posted clay bars wont remove swirls or scratches. Scratch x is designed just for that purpose that why i was going to give it a try. i dont expect a new car finish with a 5 dollar product. thats what i expect 2 see from the porter cable

Yeah, that 3M micro finish is a liquid like car wax that when applied and worked in, it breaks down to a water like consistancy acting as a lubricant for the pad. It does a very nice job with swirls. Again, I would recommend that you consult with a body shop supply professional to make sure your get the right product as there are different grit compounds in similar packaging. I would go very fine polish to start. It isn't cheap though as I paid about $35 for a quart.
