Well, first off, that's not chromed. It's stainless steel. I've got it.

That's a decent price too. I think it's about what I paid 1.5 years ago.

The only issue I've ever had with it is that the steel is perfectly flat. The tailgate bib is slightly convex. After about 3 months, the bottom of the factory tailgate bib came loose from the tailgate. I suspect it was from the "spring" action of the steel trying to straighten itself out again. Told the dealer about it during a routine service and they took the bib off, applied new double-sided tape and have had no issues since.

I say go for it! I've never been a fan of black plastic.....let alone on the tailgates of these trucks. It just looks kind of plain to me without something to set off the tail.

Yes I did. I forget the seller but it appears to be identical to mine. Nice product.
