Howdy,
I bought my Titan 3 weeks ago and have since put a Banks exhaust on it. If anyone is interested, I still have the stock set up. It's still new...and it's yours if you want to pick it up. I live in Delta, PA and work in Baltimore. You can pick up at either location. -Otherwise this will probably get scrapped-

Welcome to the Keystone Titan Club! (Unofficial but there are a few of us)
While I don't need the stock exhaust I could probably unload it for you. In June there is a meet for the East Coast Titans hosted in NC @ the Rock (Rockingham speedway) which should have a pretty good showing. There is a swap thread already set-up, if you like I can add your parts to the list of things that will be available.
I too plan to upgrade my exhaust when budget allows. How do you like your Banks so far? Sounds pretty mean I bet!
Well, so far I've had the Banks less than 24 hours...yeah, it sounds sick! The rumble seems to have a lower pitch than the other brands (check YouTube). She purrs at cruising speeds, but getting there sounds like she'll eat you alive. It's loudest at 1600-1800 RPMs. It's too early to figure any gas mileage increase. As for the stock exhaust, I really wouldn't have a way of getting it to the swap, or I'd tell you to go for it (North Carolina, right?) You're more than welcome to list it if someone feels like picking it up...anything south of Baltimore, I'd need some gas money (don't we all!). Thanks though, I appreciate your help.

I planned the upgrades before I bought the truck...figured it in with saving for the downpayment. I can't really add anything else without voiding the warranty. As soon as that sucker's up, I'll go for the CAI. I'm not really looking to race the thing, just get the maximum efficiency...(I say to myself as I step on the gas). It's funny how I can slip a few mods on the truck now and get away with it (the wife, ya know). But... if I put off adding nerf bars (which my wife needs to get in the truck), I can actually justify the purchase later on. If I put'em on now, I'll be questioned about adding the other stuff. Chicks! But, hey, add one piece at a time, right?

yea one piece at a time.so far i figure i've spent 3k on stuff for my beloved truck.and i need about 4k more before i'm satisfied.and my wife only knows half of what i've actually spent
Well, thank God I have the house, but I understand! I haven't done the timing advance yet. Yet another warranty issue... I'm allowed one toy and one toy only. That would be my 71 Buick (I've posted pics of her in the gallery). Before that, I outfitted my home recording studio. I've been in the doghouse more than once! How's that saying: Better to ask forgiveness than permission? HA! I'm a glutton for punishment, so this truck has to masquerade as practical. Besides, a day may come when I'm living in it! The guy I work with bought a nice family-oriented Marauder. Now it's supercharged with everything custom (headers, gauges, tuning, rims are even one-offs but look stock, drag radials)...0-60 in 3.9...$35000 in mods later, it's now a supercar...must be compensating for something...

your muffler going already?? or are you "just in case"?
I had thought about that but I want to upgrade... you know I can only replace what needs it, so I can justify cost haha and not feel bad
waiting for the shocks to go, and the muffler, and the air filter
(saws, magnaflow, cai) see how that works?
Nah - my muffler is still fine. It will be even better sharing garage floor space with phenometron muffler. What I really want are the intermediate pipes to build a cheap true dual setup.
I'm doing the same with the shocks & tires. I'll sneak a cai in there eventually. By buying a small piece at a time, it goes virtually un-noticed by the wife. But buying some $1100 coilovers ain't gonna happen...

Apparently Verizon has chosen this particular time to not let me access my emails. The other 3/4 of the day everything was fine. I hate that friggin' company, they're always changing the website. Anyway, I'll check it again when I get home. I'm supposed to be working! By the way, why not use ALL the pipes with both mufflers - I guarantee you'll be the only one on your block with a quad exhaust!

did you read up on the "true duals" and their gains? the research i've exhausted myself doing on here seems to point to the vk56 loving the y pipe..
then again i don't see much gain having single in dual out for looks... still not sure what i'll end up with, probably a magnaflow 40 series 18" with the stock system, just a muffler swap for now... plus that ****ty tail pipe will give the "sleeper" look

No worries - I'll check my home email then too. (I have comcast at home - I'm not sure who I dislike more - comcast or verizon - no, nevermind, I hate comcast more and would go with verizon fios if they ever get off the butts and run it the extra 200 yards to my house!)
As for using all the pipes - I had that thought!
Actually deadriver - I'm thinking two magnaflows (see here: Exhaust Idea) with an x-pipe before the mufflers and I'm still debating the exit routing. I kinda' want a stealth exit (behind the tires), but I haven't seen one I like yet. I need to roll under the truck and take a peek at how much room there is - I just want it tucked up and mostly out of sight (foose style).

clancy, you know what would be cool, although i'm not sure the price (300 per?) is the electronically activated exhaust cut outs.... you can slide them open for racing or cruising the close them up for your day to day. it's similar to the old type of side pipes that had the removable cover, only you don't have to burn your hand or carry a wrench.
I think when you have this done I'd love to hear it and snap a few pics if you don't mind..... it should sound pretty sweet..
I've seen a few titans with them coming out before the tires... but i think it was a KC model..
I can't really add anything else without voiding the warranty. As soon as that sucker's up, I'll go for the CAI.
A CAI will not void your warranty. If you are worried about it just keep your stock intake and put it back on if something happens. It only takes about 30 minutes to change intakes out.
