Titan compatible 5th wheel trailer FOR SALE

Buying a new home that probably won't have RV parking so I need to part with my gently used 1999 Forest River Sandpiper 21R 22' 5th wheel travel trailer.
It sleeps 4 comfortably and 6 max. It is fully self-contained minus a generator and all electrical, plumbing, heating and air-conditioning systems work. The rig has a queen bed up front and you can sit completely up while in bed.

It has 4 wheel electric brakes and as you can tell by the pictures has a receiver hitch professionally welded to the rear bumper and frame and has wiring for the 2nd trailer. Yes my stock 04 (which I am keeping) Titan SE 4x4 with BT towed excellent, like a much smaller trailer, and it was very stable. The tires on the trailer are about 2.5 years old in perfect condition.

How much does it weigh? I was very careful and weighed the trailer at a certified truck scale to be 100% sure while double towing.
Empty:5200#'s
Full including all holding tanks at 50 to 70% full and road ready for a 1 week trip:6200#'s

I can answer any and all questions you may have about double towing. The special firm price for TT is $4800 otherwise I will list it elsewhere online.

Only the 5th wheel trailer is for sale and once I am back in the country (traveling for work for a week) I will post more pictures including the very clean interior. I live in Upland, CA about 30 miles from Los Angeles.

That's not a bad price either!! I tow like that too.....it's nice having a commercial liscense with a doubles endorsement!!

It is, but the first trailer must be a fifth wheel. A 5er is considered a semi-trailer.

Post those interior pics. I've admired your setup since I first saw it. What hitch are you using? Slider? Hitch included? It looks the same size as our 21 footer with an extra bedroom on the front. I know my wife would prefer the queen bed over our dinette bed. Let's see, if I could sell ours...then maybe... The market is tough right now, but that's a good price and it looks like you take good care of your stuff. There's a lot of junk out there.

Thanks I will get interior shots tonight, been busy with house selling stuff. I was going to keep the hitch since the rails would be staying in my truck. I am using a slider hitch, RBW, it works well and is only needs to slide if you are backing up and turning. I will be including a DVD player and wall mount LCD TV.

I can deliver this trailer up to 60 miles from Upland, CA for just the cost of fuel.

Still got this thing? Curious to know if a crew cab Titan will pull it as well, or does it have to be the King Cab with the longer bed.
