Re: WTB: finned diff cover

Thanks but no kidding...

If I'd wanted to pay that price I already would have. Looking for an OEM cover only, preferably used.

Re: WTB: finned diff cover

Bud, I think you will have a hard time finding one of those! The people that have them already, really have no reason to change!

Good luck though!!

Re: WTB: finned diff cover

Searched and found a couple that had been for sale on here, one was given away for free even.

Thought someone might be swapping out the weak little 44 for a stronger rearend...

Here is a tip.. Call your dealer, not the parts dept. but Service and ask iif they have a failed Diff sitting around to swap rear covers off. If Nissan doesn't want it back, they just throw the WHOLE thing away...

That's a great tip Derwud! That could work.

I gave mine away after I upgraded to a Stillen cover, hope the OP finds what he is looking for.

I had my Trutrac installed last year at Socal Super Trucks. It cost me $350, which included labor and gear oil. They told me I did not have to replace the carrier bearings. I've driven 25,000 miles, so far no problems. They are in San Bernardino Ca.
