If you are buying a bass boat, what are you going to pull it with? Don't you think that you can talk your wife into letting you keep the truck and buying a $5000 boat instead of selling the truck and buying a $25,000+ boat?

Seriously, my dad and I just split the cost of my uncle's 1985 18' Skeeter bass boat because we don't really need 2 boats since we fish together all of the time, the boat is in good shape, and we didn't want to buy a new fiberglass boat just to get torn up in the shallows and the stumps fishing for crappie. Dad's been wanting to get rid of his aluminum boat for quite a while, so that will cover his half, and my bonus will cover mine.

I've got a Ford F350 pickup for work and get to use it after hours too. With work picking up the tab on gas for that truck, the Titan's just been sitting in the driveway.

I've got a 1996 Champion bass boat, but I'm looking to upgrade to a newer and faster boat. Looking at Strokers.
