You have to trade out all the brackets as well.

do what i did. buy a 2008 xe front bumper. these are diff. than the earlier models, they are not bumper covers.. its actually 3 peices and its steel just like your chrome peice, and its paintable, and then paint your grill shell to match. the 08 xe bumper cost me about $360, and then $150 to paint it and put it on. (got the hook up) but then you can sell your chrome bumper for a few hundred bucks. im still trying to sell mine though...
