FS: Mag Hytec Rear Diff Cover

FS: Mag Hytec rear diff cover for sale. Like new condition...only had on truck for ~2K miles. Sold truck, now selling parts. Cover holds ~ double what the factory cover holds. Includes gasket and stainless hardware. Cover uses a dipstick for fluid level checking and is also magnetized along with the bottom drain bolt. Also has plug where temp sensor can be used.
$150.00 + shipping.

I live in VA if wondering.

Thanks

Re: FS: Mag Hytec Rear Diff Cover

If it works for an '05 I'll take it off your hands. I only work with postal M/O and could send it overnight Monday morning. $150+shipping, LMK. If I get it, it would put me 1 step closer to the TT upgrade evil plan.... If not, good deal for whoever gets it 'cause it's definitely worth it.

I am that guy, with an e-lock and Austin's e-lock mod to boot, so I'm still interested. If you're in NoVA, so am I, and I get down to Richmond regularly too. I'll also be in Va Beach this coming Thursday and Friday if you're in that area. Thanks!

I searched on "magnetic+drain+plug" and found this thread - Magnetic Oil Drain Plug

Hope that helps.

Your diff plug is magnetic and is located on the diff housing not the cover.

Re: FS: Mag Hytec Rear Diff Cover

I live in Madison, VA...south of Culpeper and North of Charlottesville/Richmond area. This unit works on all Titans with the Dana 44 rear. I still have in the original shipping box that I received it in. This is an excellent deal for a mint product!

Re: FS: Mag Hytec Rear Diff Cover

thanks krh2. So, we have a magnet in their already so I guess I don't see the point of this cover unless you are the older smooth cover just to get the cooling fins, I guess?

Re: FS: Mag Hytec Rear Diff Cover

Cooling Fins, Higher Capacity than OEM (7/8 qt ???), Temperature Probe Outlet (1/4'' Pipe Thread Boss), Reuseable O-Ring Seal, and the ever Cool Looks are the reasons.

This is the very best cover available and is bargain priced! Should have been a closed deal by now.

Well this cover hold more fluid than the factory. Definite will help over stock cover no matter the year.
