has anyone found a good source for a high quality dash cover?

Hey Craig,
where is Rancho are you? I live in Norco.
But about the dash cover, I got my velour topper from the dealer, for 39.95 I figure its 10 dollars more but its better than the other cheap carpet ones that ive seen

im near Foothill and Haven. Does that dash cover fit well? Any problems with audio quality with the dash speakers being covered?

Yes, the dash cover fits like a glove, as for sound, it does not muffle the sound too bad, to me it sounds almost the same.
