CAI operating in COLD weather

I'm curious, does the Titan start/run any differently in COLD weather with a CAI system versus the stock system

Re: CAI operating in COLD weather

ull find that ull get better fuel mileage with both but considering that the cai has more of a free flowing filter, ull notice better throttle response and better fuel mileage with the cai over the stock system..

Re: CAI operating in COLD weather

I think he meant harder starting or poor running due to extreme cold temps.

Re: CAI operating in COLD weather

My Titan has been driven at sub zero temperatures with my Volant PowerCore CAI without any problem. I have the throttle body bypass mod, however I put a valve in the hose so that the flow of radiator fluid could be enabled in the winter and disabled in the summer.
