Go take in a junior hockey game - save a ton of cash and get to watch hockey players who really want to play hockey
NHL is done for this year and probably next year as well.
I hear that lacrosse is fairly big on the West coast and lots of action.
Lacrosse doesn't have enough "Stickwork" in it. I will definitely NOT miss the NHL. Hockey has turned into a business, not a passion for our kids to enjoy.
I just wanted to be the only TITAN parked in an arena called G.M. PLACE. Here in Vancouver, we call it "The Garage". Kind of fitting for a G.M. product don't you think?
I'm in Fort McMurray, Alberta, and I just put a downpayment on a Titan. '04 Silver SE CC 4x4. It should be in in a week. Too long if you ask me, but there are no '04 left in western Canada and they have to ship it in from Ontario. I'll let you know how it goes! This board sounds like a great place! Rizzo, I bought from Sherwood Nissan in your town. What can you tell me about them?

I got my '04 Red LE CC 4x4 from Sherwood Nissan in January. Is there something about this dealer we can't post? Rizzo is there something you need to pm me too?
Thanks Garth
Looks like a few folks have shopped in Sherwood Park. I'll be looking for an 05 SE CC 4x4 this spring. Sherwood Park is the closest for me, but I'll also check out the other dealers in Edmonton.
Any advice GT-Titan, Rizzo, and Canada0937? Are there deals to be had, or did you get the typical story of "low inventory, low margin, can't keep them on the lot" ?

I bought my truck from West End Nissan in Edmonton. I tried to buy from Sherwood Nissan but they wouldn't deal with me. I ended up getting the same truck for $1700 less at West End. I don't recommend dealing with them, however, as my deal turned very sour at the end I don't want to mud sling so I'll leave it at that. I would rate them average at best.
Sherwood Nissan had a bunch of '04's on the lot last week. The sales guy said they are trying to pick up as many as possible from other dealerships. Maybe there is a good deal to be had. They sure weren't offerring it to me. The only reason I couldn't deal with them is what they were offerring me difference between my truck and the new one. When I went back in to get some parts for the new truck, the salesman I was dealing with didn't even want to talk to me. Some people are so strange.
I should have kept shopping for another dealership but I was sick of looking and looking.
I went to West-End Nissan in September and got the 'High Demand-Low Inventory, so we're not dealing' bit from them, so I walked away. I've talked on the phone with Sherwood Nissan and yes, they are buying the 2004s from other dealers. If I wanted a KC, I believe a deal could be made there as they were practically giving them away for close to or less than MSRP. However, I wanted a CC, they are less inclined to deal on those. They did find me one however and it should be in next week sometime. I can't wait. I actually bought this truck unseen, undriven. I've never even set foot in a Titan, but I have driven the Big 3 and I figured it was time to try something new. My experience with the sales staff at Sherwood has been better than the one experience at West-End, I just wanted to get rizzo's opinion on the service department. Do you guys know?
I went to Sherwood Nissan because they were the only ones that had a 04 CC LE and the better rates. I only got about $2000 off because they said it was the only CC LE in western Canada. The 1.9% rate made it for me, 05's are at 4.9 or 5.9%. Now I'm looking for a dealer to service it because I'm in St. Albert and Sherwood Nissan is to far away. So I'd like opinions on service departments too.
Yeah, at least they told you Western Canada. They told me none left in Western Canada and mine is coming from Oakville Ontario. Service department comments?

I only dealt with the service department once and they were good. I wouldn't hesitate to bring the truck back there again. Especially since they are only a 5 minute drive from my house. As long as you are happy with the price you paid for the truck, I think you'll be fine dealing with the service department at Sherwood Park Nissan. The price is the only thing that kept me from buying there.
I would have bought a crew if they had a 6.5 ft box. Unfortunately, they have a little 5.5 ft box and I need to use the truck as a truck, not a car. I have a hard enough time dealing with only 6.5 ft. In that respect, I really miss my Super Duty.
I bought mine used about 3 months ago and am quite happy, especially since I got a fairly good price break. Previous owner had brake and 4WD control issues that seem to have been resolved. I'm getting my radio replaced tomorrow and have had squeaks from the leaf springs. Gas mileage is pretty consistent at 5 km/litre.

Well the baseball thing the Coquitlam Reds usually kicked the $hit out of the P.G. knights (at least when I played).
My dog is a bullmastiff, his name is Tucker, I am trying to post newer pictures of him but don't know how.
As I typee this I am holding my brother's new black lab cole she is about the size of the one in your avatar, and boy what a sweety.
My Bullmastiff gets called a Boxer all the time too. She's about the size of a Boxer but, IMO, she looks nothing like one. Of course, I'm not a big lover of Boxers. Although I know there are alot of nice ones around, I've never met one. No offense to Boxer lovers intended. I never met one of those I liked either...JUST KIDDING!!!!
