Has any Canadians received the permanent fix for the brake judder issue . If you have could you please PM me and let me know 2 things 1. where you got the fix done and 2. your vin . If you could do this for me that would be great .
I was told yesterday that the perm brake fix will be done next week or the week after. That is when they are expecting all the new parts. The reason it hasn't been done in Canada so far is no parts. Canada won't have the 3 strikes and your on philosophy like they had in the states.

Now it is up for sale - or at least the BFGs and the Cap!
I talked with a fellow Titan owner today. He's had the brake judder for a couple of weeks and was just told that it would be about 8 weeks for the parts to come in. It's tough where we are in Fort McMurray cause we have to drive 4 hours to get servicing done.

Hey guys, it's been a loooong time since I've posted. Here's the deal. I had the 12,000 km service done at Sherwood Nissan. Of course, I recently experienced the 'judder' and had them look into the matter. The service guy recognized that this was a chronic problem with the Titans and has ordered the new parts for the brake fix (at least a month wait). Until then, they machined my rotors and the judder has gone away for now.
Hopefully I'll be trouble free for my trip to Cadomin this weekend (weather permitting) and my trip to Van Isle in a couple of weeks. Holidays are coming and I can't wait!!!!!
No other major probs with the Titan. A few rattles and minor problems. I'm really unimpressed with the build quality of this truck but I still really enjoy driving it.
BTW - I'm having really good luck with gas mileage. I got nearly 22 mpg travelling from Calgary to Edmonton at about 120kph without any wind to speak of. I am thrilled about that!!! I'll update when I know more about my MPG while pulling a trailer. I'll be doing alot of pulling in the next few weeks. It will be about 6,000 lbs or so.

I haven't experienced any brake problems on my 2004 Titan King Cab with just over 12,000 kms - what do you mean by "judder" ???
Ever since I got by the 7,000 km mark, my solo gas mileage has been in the 20.5 to 22 MPG. I just back from a tour of the Rocky Mountain National Parks in Alberta a total of 3,700 kms pulling a 5,500 lb travel trailer - average gas mileage 13.2 MPG - average speed 105 kph utilizing both 4th and O/D (depending on terrain and wind)

you guys think you have it bad try taking your truck in for brakes 8 times got the fix now so thay say 1 year later 23900 miles i live in phoenix az just feeling your pain.
If you have judder, which they will confirm to get you on the list, if it is bad tell them that you are towing and are concerned about vehicle safety. They will turn the rotors that will ultimately be replaced. I am pulling a TT through the mountains and didn't need a front end that felt like it was coming apart.
The parts situation is not much better down here. (boy it feels funny saying down here). My truck is in today as we speak having the fix done. I also had to go through the first two temp fixes. I looked at the new rotors yesterday when dropping off. The are huge and very heavy. Hope this ends the issue for me.

Got my brake fix done along with some other work (new seat controller, seat squeek fix and new seals in rear pressure monitors). Seems very good. Like I said the rotors are thick and very heavy. Hope it works and lessens brake dust as some have said. Also my shaking problem was wheel balancing also done.
