Re: So how much are you paying to lease your titan ???
I just leased an '06 cc w/off road, tow, utility bed,roc fos w/ buckets for $450 mo. w/15k a year mileage. I like the truck so much though I'm planning on buying the lease out.
Re: So how much are you paying to lease your titan ???
Interesting data point - Tundra has a pretty good deal on lease going right now. $250 / month with only $2K down on a 3 year 12K / year lease. This is for a 2wd double cab SR5. While the Titan is certainly a better truck, I am not sure it is worth close to double the lease payment......
I have been considering selling my 2004 Armada if I can get into a cheap enough lease deal on a 4-door club cab pick-up. For me it is mostly a utility vehicle but also used for family trips where we end up bringing more junk than will fit in a car (like bikes, camping gear, dog, etc) or need the 4wd. But my daily driver is a Caddilac CTS-V, so really the Armada is overkill for what I need so I am thinking about downgrading to save some cash. I considered a Silverado 1500 crew-cab 4wd last month, but even with the red tag sale price taking almost $8K off sticker the lease was still mid-high $300's, which I decided wasn't a big enough savings to make it worthwhile. I was figuring the Titan would be in about that same range. And the Toyota is quite a bit cheaper - I think helped in part by a very strong residual value which almost all Toyota's seem to enjoy compared to their competition.

Yup... It's kanuk buks. This is the CDN forum right?
CDN cars are more expensive. It's much cheaper to buy in the US and import. For a 40-50KCDN car you'd save around 5-20K. This titan is for the business so financing is a waste of money.
Re: So how much are you paying to lease your titan ???
New vehicles are 'more expensive' in Canada when the Canadian dollar is relatively high vs. the US dollar. Right now, we multiply the US buck by about 1.16 to convert to Canadian currency. About 3 to 4 years ago, the factor was about 1.6. I remember Ford coming down on dealers in Ontario or Quebec selling 'gray market' vehicles to US customers. Back then, the Canadian MSRP was a fair bit less than the US MSRP multiplied by the 1.6 exhange rate.
Our MSRP's don't fluctuate with the exchange rate, so it's just a case of comparing the cost/value of other brands to the Titan.

$545 U.S. per month, zero down 48 months, 15,000 miles per year, with $15,000 buy out. Oh its a 2004 Crew 4X4 SE with BT and SE Pop package. Also has the Utility bed package.
