Noticed Canuks lifted truck was sitting in front of what liked like a wellsite shack. Was up in Chinhauga yesterday, seen a Titan on a Drilling rig. Made me curious... How many Titans Talk members are in the Canadian Oil Patch?
Me, I am a Petroleum Technologist, but my Titan is for personal use, the company hasn't reviewed my recommendation to change out their fleet from GM to Nissan yet.
I was up the Chinchaga about two weeks ago with my titan--down by km 160ish--I have driven my titan for about a month and a half now in the patch after i gave my company back their pos chev--so far is holding up well except the stock tires--changed them out for BFGoodrich all-terrains after 3 flats in the first 1500km
Started in the mid 70's as a lease-hound. Ended in the mid 80's as a Driller for now defunct Cantex Drilling. Worked the last 10 years between Rainbow Lake and Zama. Last I heard (about 5 years ago) Rig 10 was still working up there?
Lost our rig working in Zama, blew in on my tour. Lucky me!
Good luck with your Titan, I'll never take mine near any frickin well site, too much damn mud.

I work as a MWD (yes thats right, a movie watching dude) and my company has a great vehicle policy--any lease that we have to get towed onto or any that we feel is nearing impassible and we can go rent a truck a the company's expense. That said, I have actually noticed a decent improvment in the quality of a lot of leases over the last few years and have not had to much of a problem with leases in a while.

Work on the largest deep water semi currently out there, we are in Norway right now heading back to east coast of Canada soon, drive my 05 on my days off.
i'm not in the oil patch, but me little brother just finished up a 90 day stretch up in some valley in north eastern BC corner near Alberta and NWT. He worked with a couple crews as driller or motorman depending on seniority. He's off for the spring thaw and is to be back some time in May. His current ride is a chev crewcab diesel with a 6 inch lift.
