New Member & Owner in Canada says hi!

Hi everyone,

Just picked up my new 06 Titan on Saturday from Sherwood Nissan. It is a LE King Cab 4x4 in my favorite color ... black. The Titan is a replacement for my 03 Chev Silverado Z71 which was a great truck. Although the Titan has some pretty big shoes to fill, I think I'm going to enjoy my new truck a lot.

No immediate plans to add any modifications besides a remote starter ... I like the looks, sound, and ride of the Titan right out of the box.

When the weather gets better I'll add a pic of my new ride.

Welcome, I bought my 04 Titan CC in Silver Mist from Sherwood Nissan as well. I just have one question, why black? Haven't you read Hobart's posts about black?

Re: New Member & Owner in Canada says hi!

Welcome to TitanTalk. Like you I to went from a Chevy truck to the Titan (1999 Chevy Silverado LS 1500 2WD - black). I don't know what size of engine you had in your Chevy but mine was a 5.3 L and I can tell you right now - the 5.6L Titan has a lot more power and torque than my old Chevy

Where are all the other Canadian Titan owners ???

Yeah I did .... now that's 5 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Although new to this forum I have learned to pretty much ignore what he says.

Have you used Sherwood Nissan's service department? If so, how was it?

Re: New Member & Owner in Canada says hi!

Well I've had my truck for a little more than 2 weeks and so far I like! The weather around Edmonton has been pretty bad (getting all the snow in March that we didn't get all winter) so I've had plenty of opportunity to use the 4wd ... sweet. I've been taking it pretty easy until I get some miles on the Titan but today I decided to have some fun. The accelaration and handling is amazing for a truck ... I see I'm going to have buckets of fun this summer ... mpg be dammed!

Canadian bacon = back bacon = bacon (British) Notes: Canadian bacon tastes like ham and is much leaner than American bacon. It's made from pork loin that's been smoked and cured.

I haven't used Sherwood but have used Ericksen and Westend Nissan. Ericksen was the worst episode EVER! Westend Nissan has been very good. Carl is a good service writer....followed him over from Ericksen after he left.
