All XE models have big disco's now but the lease/finance rates are quite a bit higher at 6.25% interest as opposed to the 3.8% on the SE LE models. That's the only catch so it's an awesome deal on an XE if your gonna pay cash!!!

Re: '07's coming...how much savings on an '06

I had 3 dealers contact me recently with an offer of dealer invoice - $1000 - $2250 rebate for a CC or $2750 for a KC.

Re: '07's coming...how much savings on an '06

I bought my 06 SE CC for $28K in Boise (almost straight south from Calgary) 6 months ago. The MSRP was $32,000. I recently saw the same truck for $26,0000. It was at Dennis Dillon Nissan. I didn't want to buy a new truck but that price was cheaper than 04s were going for with 20+K miles.

Also, I don't think there are duties on vehicles between the US and Canada if you own it outright. I am canadian and have taken a car and a truck into the US and didn't pay anything. They were registered in the US without any hassles.

Re: '07's coming...how much savings on an '06

I'm In Alberta as well, Got my 04 from New York state, The truck must be registered in the US before bringing it to Canada or Nissan Canada will not warranty it. I'm not sure how long, but I saw a sign at the Nissan Dealer in Red Deer.
The cost to import a truck is not that much, It cost me about $800.00 + GST.
Then you need a out of province inspection & out of country inspection, dealer to hook up daytime lights, I got a metric speedo from a wrecker and put it in my self. I need to install block heater yet. I saved about $5000.00 getting a used truck from the US.

A friend of mine and I bought ones last week, and his was an '06 KC SE. He got $6K off right away(dealer rebates) and we got another $2500 off him while we were dealing on price. So I think he paid around $31-32K for a brand new one. Where are you located??? Were in Calgary.

I might just have to drive down to calgary to buy one. I'm in edmonton and they screwed up on my price and gave me the 2 wheel drive!

I guess I should call around down there for a 06KC 4X4 LE with tow package..

Was your budies a 4X4?

Yup, 4x4 SE KC. The dealer discounts the $6K off the bat and he got another $2500 off of it too. I think he paid around $31-32K for a BN '06. But you better hurry, not too many '06's left across Canada for a lot of the colors, if you want a silver one, you should be okay, any other color maybe tough.

Re: '07's coming...how much savings on an '06

Inventories are running low on the '06 models right now. Hard to find any LE models in the midwest. Dealers I talked to are agressive on the '07 as well, with the major difference being the rebate difference of about $500.00 less on the 07. Nissan dealers here are anticipating lower October sales numbers due to soft sales on trucks and inventory issues.
