Hey everyone,
I'm up in Calgary and have been looking at a Titan for a long time. Looks like my car will finally be sold here in the next week so I should be purchasing one here really soon, sometime in early September. My question is, how much of a discount did you guys get on your trucks off MSRP? I know they will be pushing 2006 models as the 2007 ones will be rolling in soon so I should be getting a big discount(I think). I really don't care what year it is, as long as I can save a few more bucks. Thanks!
Pretty easy to get an 06 for invoice and you keep the rebate in the US. If you really work at it and ae not too picky about color or options, you can get them for a few hundred under invoice and keep the rebate.
Down here in America, when the 07's come out, we get the leftover 06's for free.
LMFAO!!!
Mr. B strikes again.

Never argue with idiots. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

A fleet deal here is 100 over invoice - 2250 for a crewcab and -2750 for a kingcab. Go to www.edmunds.com and you can get the exact invoice for the truck you want with the options you want.

I got my 06 500 BEHIND invoice, in my color, with my seat, and all the goodies I wanted. And I kept the rebate. I had to drive 100 miles, but they had my truck and wanted the deal.
As Aquaholic said, do your research online at Edmunds.com They have a place where you punch in your geographic location, they tell you the exact price of the truck, and what people have been paying for them in your area. With that information in hand, you can go down to the dealers and beat up on them if you can.
Get your financing lined up first, and then let the dealer guy track down a better deal for you. He probably can.
I work at a dealer in Michigan, and we will let them go at invoice right now if someone fights for it. I did work a deal out with the owner that anyone that mentions this website gets it at invoice, no extra haggling necessary. If you let me know what you want on your truck, I can find whats out there, and get you an exact invoice price. Also, we have people coming over from canada all the time to buy some of our more expensive trucks, esp. Armada, I guess they save a good bit by doing it like that. So do some research, and PM me to let me know what you want and I can get you an invoice from the U.S., and even let you know where it can be found.

Otherwise, I also recommend edmunds.com or kbb.com
Use the "get dealer quotes" function where you specify what you want and dealers in your area can email you an offer.
I just printed those out, went to the one down the street and said "I want this for this price", handed him the paper and it was done.
We had to haggle over financing, but I got a smokin deal.
Basically a brand new '05, with everything I wanted for less than what USED '04's were going for.
Buying a vehicle in the US and bringing it back to Canada could cost a lot more than you think. Duty charges and warranty issues could be something for you to carefully check out before you proceed with a purchase.

Both edmunds.com and kbb.com are of no use in Canada as both ask for a valid US Zip Code. The Canadian postal code does not work

We sell a lot of Armadas to Canadian customers, even after duty charges, they still save money. You do need to look into it just to make sure it benefits you to purchase in the States as opposed to Canada.
As far as the warranty goes, you pay for the repairs, then Nissan will reimburse you. This is how it has been explained to us, however, check with your local dealership, and look into an extended warranty. Nissan's factory warranty leave out a lot of little things, so I HIGHLY recommend one. The extended warranty get you a loaner if you need warranty work done, roadside assistance, trip interrruption, towing, and more. You might buy the car here, and pick up a warranty over in Canada. If anyone is in this situation and has any questions, PM me and I will do my best to find out everything for you.
My new 06 is going to be free.
I should have it next neek. Can't wait to get rid of my leaky, smelly 05...
