Where to get Aftermarket Parts in Canada

Ok, so I just finally bought a Titan and I would like to start doing a few things to it. I'm looking to get a billet grille (preferably stainless), new taillights, headlights, 3rd brake light, levelling kit and maybe an intake and exhaust in a little bit. I've found all the stuff I want at various locations but it is always in the U.S. Have any of you bought any of this stuff in Canada? I have had bad luck with E-Bay so far and anything I've bought off the internet that was shipped from the U.S. usually ended up costing a fortune due to customs costs. I would prefer to find this stuff in Canada if I can but I'm not having much luck.

Has anyone bought the billet grille directly from Nissan? I haven't really looked into it too much yet but they do have one.

Also, if my only choice is to get it off E-bay, any chance you could let me know what sellers were reputable so I don't get screwed again?

Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm in Parry Sound, Ontario. Close to Barrie / Toronto. I don't mind buying from anywhere in Canada that will ship, I just don't like getting stuck with the customs fees.

Re: Where to get Aftermarket Parts in Canada

I called the Nissan dealer in Barrie today about the factory billet grille. The chick in the parts department didn't know if it was plastic or metal. She decided it was metal because it was heavy, then she remembered that it was chrome plated. I asked her if it was chrome plated aluminium and she thought that was a good guess. Then I asked her the price and the top three pieces were $225± and the bottom was $174 so I assumed it must be stainless steel. I finally convinced her to go find out for me and she came back saying it was chrome plated steel. I asked about installation and she didn't know anything about that either but she finally guessed around 1.5 hours to do both which would be another $125 or so.
After finally getting off the phone from a simple question, I checked the Nissan.ca website again and found out that the grilles are polished aluminium, not chrome plated, and not steel. Anyway, they are way overpriced if anyone was interested. I guess I'll be buying from E-Bay after all.

I ordered my 2" levelling kit from PRG today. I think I'm going to keep stock rims for now and go with Bridgestone Dueller A/T Revos. Any input?
I have a crew cab 4x4 LE with the 18" rims.

Re: Where to get Aftermarket Parts in Canada

My local dealer WestEnd Nissan is the only dealer in Alberta that will install and warranty lifts on their trucks. They install and sell trucks mostly with Procomp 6" lifts and aftermarket goodies gallore. They can't keep them on the lot. You can give Dave a call in parts (780) 486-1910. He can help you out with grilles, rims and tires, big brake kits, powersteps, exhaust, stillen superchargers, etc. They have installed everything they sell.

They will bend you over if you go there. I bought my truck from there (got a smokin deal) but when it comes to lifts and stuff dont even bother. I think they wanted 5000 for a 6 inch lift. If your in edmonton deal with 4 wheel performance. When I talked to the guy he said they have done over 40 trucks that year and bought a crazy about of lifts for titans. NEVER go to a deal. I know cause I do work for alot of them. They mark it up ALOT!

Re: Where to get Aftermarket Parts in Canada

Well I hate to bring an old thread back from the dead but this info fits best in here I think. I ended up finding a grille insert in Canada at Van and Truck World (as mentioned in a previous thread). It is a "Cloud Rider" and you can check them out on the website http://www.cloudrider.ca/

I didn't get the one I liked best because they didn't have it in stock and the store was a long way from home but the one I got looks pretty good. I'll get some pictures of it sometime. It was $150 CAD plus tax and it's stainless steel! Most of the stainless stuff I've priced so far was in the range of $700 plus shipping.

Anyway, thought some of you Canadians may want to know about it since this stuff seems hard to find here. Also note the price at "Van and Truck World" was about $50 less than the price quoted on the "Cloud Rider" website.

The grille itself is fairly thin (maybe 1/8") and you can see the fasteners from the outside but it is stainless and it was quite easy to install. It's just a bolt-over type.
