Re: Canadians, introduce yourselves!!!

From Huron County:
After owning Toyota's since 1987, I have abandoned Toyota for a Titan. Just ordered a '09 Titan King cab LE in black. I just can't stand the size of a full sized truck. But then I realize that I am doomed in 2010 when Nissan cuts the Titan. Am making a big list of all the aftermarket ad-ons. Does anyone know of an UpRev tuner in Ontario???

Re: Canadians, introduce yourselves!!!

Butch here from Halifax, NS. I purchased an 06 LE imported from the US. The truck works (and sounds) great. Nothing but compliments from everyone. The gas mileage ranges from 13 to 16 mpg depending on the time of year. I have been visiting this site for awhile now and appreciate all the good input.

Re: Canadians, introduce yourselves!!!

Hello all!

Justin here from the REAL windy city. No ofence to you people out there from Chicago, but I think anyone from Lethbridge can vouch that the wind here is pretty much as strong as you're going to find anywhere (with the exception of maybe pincher creek or cowley, lol). Anywho...I just got a black 04 4wd at the Mitchner allen auction about 5 months ago. I put a 2.5" lift and level on it, CAI, and magnaflow exhaust. I couldnt be happier with the truck. It's amazing. Lots of power, its great off road, rides nice. I just ordered a Cortex from Vex in red deer. I am anxiously watching the threads on here for a new TB. Anyone here know of any good performance shops for the titans in calgary or south? I drive back and forth for work lots, so I am in clagary every other week.

Re: Canadians, introduce yourselves!!!

Hey all
Shane here from Pembroke ON. I own a silver 05 Titan LE which I bought in Jan. My first upgrade will be saw's all around, 2" lift block and traction bars that i ordered 3 weeks ago from PRG. Also installed a cherry bomb vortex a few weeks back, wasnt planned but after crawling under the truck to give the suspension parts a early spray of WD i hit my head in the tail pipe and found out pretty quick that a few of the exhaust flanges were shot (tail pipe almost fell off). Next was going to be nismo headers and exhaust but have been reading on here that i will need an uprev tune and dont know if i can get it done anywhere around here. I am heading to Ottawa tomorrow to have complete rear end swap (for the second time that i know of) and front drive shaft u joint replaced along with a few recall repairs. If anyone has found a good spot in Canada to buy aftermarket stuff plz let me know. Thanks

Re: Canadians, introduce yourselves!!!

I was getting most of my stuff from US since i live right on the border. With the dollar being at par again with all my respect to Canadian businesses i can't see myself spending extra 20-30%. How can i find out if i have any recalls or not? I have my door handles getting stuck in winter but my deallership ware assholes about everything, so i'm not going back there.

When I took my truck in a week ago for the warranty ending inspection they told me that the recalls were never done so they said that since it was going to be there for the whole day anyway( for the rear end change) they would just go ahead with the recall repairs. I think they just look it up on the computer to see if the recalls apply to that vehicle, you could take it to another garage or try looking it up yourself. You should be able to find recalls on the Nissan ca website.

Re: Canadians, introduce yourselves!!!

I always use this site for auto recall info.

http://www.auto123.com/en/used-cars/...an&model=Titan

The first place to look though should be here - just do a search for your make and model.
