Replacement tires

My 2004 Titan has 2WD and is in need of new tires. I was thinking about going to a light truck tire something that is quiet running tire but yet aggressive enough to get me through the ice and snow of a Winnipeg winter. I want this tire to have basically the same diameter as the OE tires so that the speedometer is not affected.

Any suggestions - Thanks

Rockett,

Have you found a good location to buy them in Edmonton? I'm looking for some new good winter tires in Dec as well so a heads up would be great!

Thanks
Calvin

Re: Replacement tires

I like the Revos!

Had mine on for about a year and no complaints.

Re: Replacement tires

I think you would like the Bridgestone duellers or the Cooper Discovery's.

Re: Replacement tires

Thanks guys I'll check into those brands and see what works (of course we'll need some snow up here first maybe this year it won't be worth getting new winter tires the way things are looking so far)

Buy the Wrangler Silent armour's. Fantastic tire. I had just over 100K on mine when I put new ones on. A tad pricey but great traction summer or winter and not that loud.

Is the 100K in miles or kilometers ???

I just got a quote for 4 Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor - Total cost (including all taxes, etc) - $1,230.00

I also got a quote for 4 Goodyear Wrangler SR-A's - Total cost (including all taxes, etc) - $1,185.00

These are for the P265/70R18

It's miles, bought the truck in ND Rotated them twice. That's it. The front still had about 1/4 inch and the back were less. If you figure the miles you can't beat these tires.

Re: Replacement tires

Ended up getting the Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor tires in the same size as the OEM tires (P265-70R18's). The cheapest price for these tires was from the dealership that I bought the Titan from. Total cost (including all taxes) was $1,178.73.
They sure are a good looking tire on the Titan
