If you have ever been on the trails pulling yourself back on your feet, you understand that the most important factor about tough situations is getting out of them faster. Winches are made for guys, who seem to always swerve towards the closest mud hole. We offer both hydraulic- and electric-powered winches in all sizes and designs to fill any winching need from 2,500 pounds of pulling power up to almost 20,000 pounds. Winches we sell are equipped with multiple gears that make the most out of each unit's ability and allow pulling at slower speeds when more control is needed or at faster speeds when rapid pulling is best. To learn more you can visit Winches section at CARiD.com.

I think Mile Marker sucks.

Yes, my post was based on my experience. I have two Mile Marker SI9500 winches. Neither of them have a working free spool. Both were "repaired" by Mile Marker and still didn't work.

When it comes to winches, I typically only choose one of the three options.

Warn
Ramsey
Superwinch

I believe that when it comes to spending money on a winch, don't cheap out. The situations in which you REALLY need your winch to work, you don't want to be second guessing, or worse, stranded with a cheap winch that doesn't work....

^^^ +1 to that. I would lean towards Warn at this time. I've bought some of their accessories and I was very impressed with them.

HRTKD, really sorry to hear about your bad experience. Mile Marker is a little different price segment, but anyway they should resolve it for you.
Regarding Warn it is definitely top of the line brand, with amazing quality. And since we are the authorized dealer of this brand, we will take care about any issue appeared, so you have nothing to worry about.
